banned users

What happens when a user is sanctioned? Is there a Banned or Suspended message like on you know where? I'm looking at a user I follow whose profile had all posts and comments removed. And another who was specifically said to be banned but whose profile is up. Then yet another who went from active to silent abruptly. Those last 2 were in arguments on the site or in the chat so I was wondering what's what. Tia.

If a user account is banned, I think it allows you to log in, but not post or comment anything. It doesn't delete your past posts or history.

Paging u/deumae. Check the old place if you can stomach it. Same, so what that tell ya huh?

The default in the source is like what m7 says. You can ban from participating other than pms or even voting. Then there's custom suspensions and hard (site) bans. You definitely won't see a profile in case of a site ban.

How about a list of daily bans like on SA? Saves time and questions. U/magnora7?
