A tale of two Apple sci-fi shows.

I started watching Apple TV for the first time this week by beginning two sci-fi shows. 'Foundation' and 'Invasion'.

Foundation is just not very good. Lots of dress up opportunities, but very little of anything else. It's actually a bit boring, imo. It's possible I won't get to the end of it.

'Invasion' is the exact opposite. The characters are good and the tension is palpable. I can't believe I am already at episode 8 after just three evenings. I'm already looking forward to seeing the next series.

Foundation was a favorite book series when I was a kid. Was really looking forward to the show. I agree it was boring as hell. Couldn't make it past the first episode. Haven't seen Invasion...

I don't watch a lot of TV these days, but someone recommended Severance and I really enjoyed it. I'll have to check out Invasion.
