What kind of characters and stories do people want to see?

The Wheel of Time has all the bones of an excellent fantasy, unfortunately written by someone with not much talent beyond the world building.

Everyone loves a classic coming of age epic adventure.

I'm sure the books are good but the TV show is just very generic.

Pretty much every element is present in some other fantasy show or film.

And they make the world look boring too.

Oh, I was referring to the books. I didn't know there was a TV show out. I guess that's why this is in the screenwriting sub.
