Nothing wrong with a show whose main character is gay. But if the entire premise of that show is that character being gay, then how is it going to be interesting. If you're trying to pander to 4% of the population (at best), do it right.

Also, "Agent Mary". Seriously? Look, I'm all for using slurs as a form of self deprecating humour. But slurs like "Mary" were used to emasculate gay men. No self-respecting gay man would take that as his codename, even if it was for the sake of irony.

On top of that, you have a former federal agent trying to defund the police. You can say that the cops are bastards, but but the feds are way worse than the cops. Worse than even British cops.
