I'm the moderator of a vaccine injury support group and here's what I've seen so far.
- The groups often get taken down because Facebook doesn't want people talking about vaccine injury.
- Groups have a "topics" feature where you can view everything tagged with a particular hashtag or topic. Tagging a post can be the kiss of censorship, triggering something in Facebook that causes Facebook to hide that post from users (including the person who tagged it). For one particular topic, only 1 out of 11 posts are visible. They're polls about people asking if ivermectin works, NAD+ works, etc. etc.
- If you type in the name of the support group, you have to scroll down before you actually find the group.
- When you try to join the group, Facebook will "warn" you about misinformation.
- Maddie de Garay was injured during the Pfizer children's trials and now needs a wheelchair. When her mom posts images/videos on her Facebook, many of those images/videos are hidden and Facebook will show an error message to other people.
- The group is setup to have a moderation queue so that all messages have to be approved. Some of the messages have their images removed and the moderators only see an error message on the post, which usually leads us to reject the post because nobody can see the image in the post and figure out wtf the post is.
- Facebook is trying to push groups towards higher "group quality", which is their way of saying that a group contains too much wrongthink. Their official webpage here: https://archive.ph/wip/7c88V The company also hires "fact checking" companies to manually look for too much wrongthink in the links that people post.
I liked the world more when corporations cared about profits over political activism. Now they just shit on disabled people, people who can't work, the bedbound, and those who have committed suicide. I hate this so much.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
