It's incredible that GenderCynical is still allowed to remain active though. It's very obvious that Reddit is willing to support propaganda, but only when it is aligned with specific special interest groups. The trans community is very much in control of Reddit, and dissent only rarely is able to leak out there, with the TRAs in AHS squashing any criticism they can with report brigading.

She's very much a woman. At the peak of her success (world ranked #1 female tennis player) teenage boys training for Junior Wimbledon were able to quite easily beat her in practice matches.

In a vacuum, I'd say you're right, but the way Reddit and other private platforms have been treating unpopular speech for the past decade or so is representative of a troubling cultural shift in the mainstream that is definitely worth talking about just as much as joblessness and the general economic downturn.

Full disclosure, I'm not a superstraighter, but I am enjoying the shit they're stirring up.

I don't see it as being really a "victory".

Firstly, I have a suspicion (and sure I could easily be wrong), but perhaps the motivation in banning the forum is not that they dislike the material, but that they just don't want to give the concept any platform at all, even where it's hostile material. So just ban all mention of it because you hope that's the fastest way for it to disappear.

But let's imagine that they banned the forum for being hateful... I don't really see censorship like that as anything to be celebrated. Both sides of this debate are well within what should be tolerated as political speech.
