I actually really enjoyed Loki, the 2021 first season. I had very low expectations as I had heard many critical opinions and recognized a bit of feminist agenda applied to this Marvel TV 6 part series, the Loki Marvel character, a weakened flawed God. I didn't find any of it to be too woke at all. I enjoyed the obvious bureaucracy parallels between being trapped in a timeline without freedom of choice and our status quo world under the ruling class and their rigged systems. I was only disappointed there wasn't too much worth quoting or sampling because much of it needed contextual understanding or a word or few substituted. Also, I felt Kang's over/under-acted performance was meh while too safe without charisma for character that should have been intense. Otherwise it's a great parable about skepticism and faith/belief, despite others finding in it what they wanted to, including negative things.
