Thanks. I thought you were talking about lamp switches. The oldest home light switches I've seen are push button. Two buttons stacked vertically: one for on and one for off and when you press one, the other pops back out.

Well actually the next improvement over rotating light switches was a 2 button push on/off system. Yup.
