I keep thinking about this one incident that happened decades ago. I was in a high biology class, and the teacher pulled me aside. Apparently I'd just unseated one of my classmates as the top ranked student in the class and the student, a girl, was upset about it. I just looked blankly at the teacher, I didn't understand why the hell she was telling me. I was like "cool, so?"

I get it now. The girl had built her identity on being "the smart girl," and she worked really hard at it. But the thing was, I wasn't trying. It was almost effortless on my part beyond paying attention. I guess the teacher wanted me to console her as a fellow academic acheiver, maybe work together, idk. Instead I barely noticed the girl, besides she liked to wear dresses and she didn't always keep her legs closed. I think she might have given up on grades and focused on boys instead.

There was a lot of competition for the top spots academically, and there were a few women. But they all had to work really hard at it. Although in college one of the top 3 ranked students in my assembly class was a hot, tall, leggy blonde. 🤤

it's always men doing the dumb stuff like dares, and drunken brawls, and dangerous activities just for the eff of it.

That reminds of when we did a Chinese fire drill in moving cars. We pulled them up side to side, doing about 40-45 on a back road and everyone crawled through the windows and swapped the car they were in, even the drivers. Oh fuck, I don't know how we survived all that dumb shit lol.

But that stuff is a lot of fun. And if you don't try something you don't know if you can do it.

Uuuuh oook nevermind, you went off on a bit of a creepy tangent there. What with the whole "she didn't always keep her legs closed" and "hot, tall, leggy blonde" stuff. I'mma back off slowly.

Meh, I don't think on my deathbed I'm ever going to regret appreciating too many fine women in my life.

[–]QueenBread 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (22 children)

Yo, I appreciate fine men myself, I just don't go being horny with strangers on the internet and giving weird details about how I paid waaay too much attention to their anatomy or positions.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

strangers on the internet

It's a small site, some of us know each other pretty well here. It led to a brief but rather hot convo with u/Vulptex, he's a dude, but nobody's perfect.

how I paid waaay too much attention to their anatomy or positions.

They're memories from 23 years ago, when I was a young guy and in a time before porn was easily accessible online. A glance of panties in high school was a big deal. The other girl is notable because not only are there few female programmers, let alone in the top echelon of a difficult class like machine language, they certainly don't look like models. Brains and beauty in a male dominated profession, the girl was a unicorn. Never ran across any others, not that I know of anyways.

Anyways, I didn't mean to offend you. Apologies if I did.

[–]QueenBread 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (7 children)

Go on, you can get even more sexist if you tried. Why would it be strange for a woman to be hot AND smart? And even worse: why would a woman have a harder time studying a difficult class - do you think we're dumber? "Aaaww look at that woman, she managed to accomplish that, almost like a man!"

Yeah, I know I'm humoring a semi-incel here and the smartest thing to do would actually be to back off from this conversation.

I'll play devil's advocate here and say I've definitely noticed an inverse relationship between looks and intelligence. Is that a real difference or a perceived difference? Is it stronger in women than men? That I can't tell you. But I do think there's some credence to the idea that , the more attractive you are, the less value you might see in studying and the more value you'll see in socializing and partying. From the woman's perspective especially I can see the potential allure of forgoing education entirely to subsist off of a man instead and if you've got very good looks you've got an easier time of it and your choice of the bunch. Does that make the woman stupid? Quite the contrary, I think it's a smart move all things considering. But I do think it means you'll have that inverse relationship between looks as "intelligence" or rather book smarts. I don't think it's much different than the stereotype of the highschool jock football player being dumb as rocks.

Course I think some of it is just that the very attractive and smart women are already spoken for and as such don't put so much effort into attracting the attention of men because they don't need it.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Yeah, I know I'm humoring a semi-incel here

Hah, no, I'm a ladies man. I absolutely love women, when they're not driving me crazy. Been with the wife for 23 years, had female internet companions since I was 14. I think we're on number 17 now. Last two died sadly, alcoholics. I love me some fucked up, crazy women.

I try to avoid talking to women irl besides family now, wifie doesn't care about internet women, but irl can be problematic. Best to avoid.

That's another thing men do better, drink. Women's livers give out way quicker. You probably think that's sexist too.

Why would it be strange for a woman to be hot AND smart?

>130 IQs are rare, and even more rare in women than men. Exceptional beauty is also not a common trait, obviously. And particularly in a field that is male dominated, women would also be uncommon.

do you think we're dumber

Most people are dumb. Look around, half of everyone you see is below average intelligence.

The smartest people in the world are women. But girls aren't pushed nearly as hard as kids, and tend to avoid complicated problems. I think IQ is inborn, but it's also use it or lose it. So there ends up being more men with high IQs, but they aren't as high as those of the fewer women among them.

Why would it be strange for a woman to be hot AND smart?

Because most of the smart ones don't spend 25 hours per day getting dressed.

"Aaaww look at that woman, she managed to accomplish that, almost like a man!"

That's because women aren't usually coerced into provider roles and threatened if they fail. So if she does something it's likely entirely by her own will.

Computer programming actually used to be a female-dominated field. I'm not sure why that changed. I will say the few who are left tend to be savants compared to their male counterparts, and it makes me mad that I don't have that kind of talent. I get the impression women have better cognitive skills in general, because they aren't distracted by always needing to be on the alert for fighting and having sex. Both things I don't care much for, but my whole body dedicates itself to that anyway. This whole game of life is so awful.

My mother was the first person in our family to use a computer, an old IBM mainframe in the 60s or 70s. A lot of the earliest work with computers was secretarial in nature, office work. Might be why.

I get the impression women have better cognitive skills in general, because they aren't distracted by always needing to be on the alert for fighting and having sex.

Women have to think about whether it's safe to go outside when it's dark, whether they're going to be raped and murdered, treated like a disposable sex toy in their last moments of life.

I can get blackout drunk, wander around at 3am and pass out in a ditch, and I'll likely be fine.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

What do you mean you don't have to think about whether it's safe to go outside when it's dark? Even in safer towns it's scary, anyone could be lurking out there. Only rape is a bigger threat for women, and you act like there are no gay rapists.

But I think I'd rather sacrifice a bit of safety for quality of life. We have this idea right now that safety and survival need to come above all else...including the very things they're meant to protect. I'm even noticing this with technology; software is becoming unusable due to increasing "security" features, which you can't turn off "for your own good".

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

What do you mean you don't have to think about whether it's safe to go outside when it's dark?

I generally have no concerns about my security unless I'm in a bad part of town and I don't think about it.

there are no gay rapists.

There's a lot less gay rapists than straight rapists. When I used to go to house parties, there were guys who would just pick up passed out chicks and try to take them home. We had to sequester them in a room. A passed out dude just had to worry about having his eyebrows shaved (hilarious) and the classic drawing of a cock n balls on his face, but nobody was gonna ass fuck him.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

That's exactly why I avoid things like wild parties. Well they're not very fun for me either, but I wouldn't feel safe.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

It's hormonal. The male sex drive is unbearable and makes you desperate to find stimulation any way you can. I'd tell you to try some testosterone to get the experience, but that would destroy your body and alter your mind, and if that happens welcome to my life. However some trans men and women who've had it before can testify. It really sucks honestly. It makes you depressed and irritated all the time, fun and happiness are almost impossible. Which makes sense in nature, because fun and happiness are better for nurturing children while rage is ideal for fighting battles. But it sacrifices your entire wellbeing for the good of the tribe, which is vile in 99% of cases just like everything else in this world. Prison planet matrix.

[–]QueenBread 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Bro, you're out of your mind. Do you think women aren't as horny as men? Well, you know who believes that crap? Puritans who are afraid of discovering women are actually as horny as men are. Because, y'know, women are supposed to be naive delicate flowers and all that.

Well, we are as horny as men are. Despite not raping or murdering because of it. Deal with it.

[–]Airbus320 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

😮

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

No, some women are just as horny as men, but they have a lot more control over their urges. For you it's just fun, men pretty much need to cum and the longer they go without doing it the worse it gets. It's not really optional.

Do you know that awful feeling when something is stuck in your gums? Well that's about how it feels inside the balls, only more sensitive, driving you crazy and you can't scratch it. You can't make it go away. It only goes away after ejaculating, sometimes only partially, for maybe an hour and then it's back. If you go for too long they will start to swell and hurt. Eventually you'll cum in your sleep. Orgasm isn't even truly that pleasurable, it's just relieving. You can get that by touching your prostate, which I guess is like 10x better, but you don't see men raping and murdering for that do you?

The reason for this is, as usual, men are subhuman in nature's design. They're only supposed to exist to have sex and fight, maybe labor. Obviously no one wants to be subject to this kind of slavery, so it finds ways to force them into it. Nature doesn't care about whether it's treating someone ethically, all it cares about is survival of the fittest. If that means treating half of people as subhuman, so be it. If it cuses the worst suffering possible, so be it.

Apparently this is hormonal. This baffles me because it seems to be connected to the body filling up with semen, but apparently not. Mennwith altered hormones can be alleviated of these urges, and women who've taken testosterone say they couldn't believe how strong and forceful the urge was.

Have you considered that maybe what's "working really hard" for some girls is effortless compared to what boys have to do? Boys usually face a much larger threat from adults if they fail, and are expected to live up to higher standards. For girls it's no big deal because they will most likely get a man to take care of them. And you mentioned that this girl was attractive. Attractive women can easily manipulate others and may be used to getting good marks from charisma rather than having to actually perform well. This is why women are seen as "dramatic", they're not used to overcoming hardship on their own. Many will bail out at the slightest sign of something "complicated". Boys do it from a young age OR ELSE.

I want to say that none of this is womens' fault. It's society's fault for raising them that way. Until we stop putting women on a pedestal this will always be a problem.

In my experience there are more smart men, but the fewer smart women are smarter. Usually with autism and having a genuine interest in those subjects rather than having to be coerced into it by society. Scientifically women are definitely the smarter sex. But in this society they're not expected to use it, so most don't.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

You would naturally compare yourself to other men rather than women. If you are like almost everyone in this society you see women as on an entirely different level than you, and therefore don't think you're worthy to be compared to them.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

If you are like almost everyone in this society you see women as on an entirely different level than you, and therefore don't think you're worthy to be compared to them.

Hells no. Women have a tremendous advantage from 16 till their mid 20s, but they don't generally age well, once they have kids their social value decreases, and around 30 is the baby crazy age. Lots of guys aren't interested in having a kid with someone they just met and well, that's what they kinda need to do as their biological clock ticks away. At 35 their social value takes a huge hit also as their ability to viably bear healthy children diminishes. And of course when they hit menopause... That can be a nightmare.

Men on the other hand tend to age gracefully, become more distinguished looking. Hair loss can be a problem, but there's hair plugs and hats.

I generally prefer female company, and I've spent my entire life pretty close to women. They're just people. A lot of them don't spend their nights out partying but rather sitting at home alone, or hanging out with a friend. Or watching their kid if they have kids. They don't have a hard time getting laid, but finding a decent guy is harder than a guy trying to get laid.

I've sometimes thought my appeal to women is because I'm honest and forthright. They're often used to being lied to by guys who just wanna get their dick wet. I guess I'm fun and funny and smart and good looking too. That all helps.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Men already aged just by going through puberty, it's pretty much puberty and menopause. And it's not true that womens' social value diminishes after age 35. Yes, an attractive one won't get as much attention anymore, but the Women are Wonderful effect still applies. You'd still much sooner shoot five 70 year old men than one 70 year old woman. This instinct doesn't appear to take age into account, I suppose because it's a lot harder to distinguish than sex.

Also, a lot of your response is under the assumption that everyone's ultimate goal is to have kids. I have no plans for that, which is a big factor in my willingness to tolerate the natural order. Because my biology is forcing me to sacrifice everything for nothing.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

You'd still much sooner shoot five 70 year old men than one 70 year old woman.

If you had to decide who would live and who would die, would you pick me to live, or that QueenToast woman I have been talking to in this thread? Are a dozen of her worth one of me? A thousand? How many would it take to replace a single Muskrat.

Men do not always have less worth than women.

Also, a lot of your response is under the assumption that everyone's ultimate goal is to have kids

That's our only shot at immortality. We might as well be plants. We are born, grow, and we bear fruit in the hope our information lives on after we die. And that's it. Why do we do it? Nobody knows but everyone else was doing it.

Nothing else we do matters as much as kids. I know, they're vile useless little fucks, but they are important.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

It's like the trolley dilemma. Killing either of you would be bad. But most people would rather kill the man and protect the woman than the other way around.

Your kids can't make you immortal. Are you your kids? You could say so metaphorically, the same way they say you die when the last person who remembers you dies. But there are much better ways to make your mark on the world, if you care, but there's really no reason to. Frankly I think it's better to not bring more poor souls into this world. Especially in my case, given my genetics, it would just be cruel. The path that leads to life is not of the flesh or this world.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Women get to keep a lot more freedom in this domain, and it's why I'm so bitter about being male. Apparently asexuality or kink-only sexuality isn't really a male phenomenon, women are more likely to choose the single life, which makes perfect sense with their skillset. That was clearly a mistake in my case, along with all of my mind. I suppose before civilization I would be long dead by now because of my weaknesses. Nature likes to experiment with males because they aren't as valuable to it, but now in civilzation there's no longer any process by which the botched ones are killed off. So we just end up leading miserable lives. And toxic positivity is like "you just get to have an obligation to work harder! 😁👏". Like yeah that's so great, totally not a bad thing sugarcoated with cliches of "positive thinking" aka cope.
