interestingly Brazil has many more categories that get wadded together under the US interpretation--transvestites, the equivalent of kathoeys, those who actually GET the full surgery

The legislation in Brazil is incredibly liberal and woke. However, most people in Brazil do not play around with this shit - they are much less liberal than their institutions. I've even seen videos of muggers getting run over by motorists in Brazil.

Anyway, good on the mom for protecting her daughters.
