The thing I have a problem with her on is her apologia for women in prison as she goes quite a way down the “it’s not their fault they’re there, they’re all victims of domestic abuse, they’re there for non-violent crimes and non-payment of fines”.

It doesn’t undermine her argument against placing biological men in women’s prisons, but it is the argument often used by feminists arguing against incarcerating women at all - ignoring that it is far less likely that a woman will get a custodial sentence compared to a man convicted of the same crime.

Other than that, it was a good discussion.

Yeah, a poor security guard getting their eyes scratched out by a thieving wino in Primark is probably quite glad some abused women are locked non-violent crimes.
