😄😄 Wow!!! One comment told him to stop trying to "change parts" & fighting reality. Can't believe those comments are still up on Reddit of all places.

Reddit is learning from Anheuser-Busch, their dwindling user counts, and the need to sack 5% of their staff. Perhaps.

I wonder if they'll get wrecked by ChatGPT.

Those large language models have been keeping reddit looking more popular than it is for years.

From the beginning, to be specific.

Based Reddit Mod? Maybe nature is healing.

Went from “I’m here for honest feedback” to “you’re prejudiced against me and I’m reporting you!” pretty quick, didn’t it?

The troon wasn’t acting in good faith, so I don’t care that the commenters took the piss out of him. Honestly that’s what these people need to hear.

They often do this in order to bait wrongthink to the surface so they can try to get people banned or get the sub to include trans mods.

I mean, he asked the question. And since he's quite obviously not someone that the straight guys lurking subs like that want to fuck, they have no reason to kind or generous about their appraisals. I suspect that the only reason he didn't come out of that raw and bloody is because the commenters didn't want trip the "helpless UwU trans is being bullied, summon the mod/admin hatetrain and run them over with it" alarms.

My mum always told me not to ask questions where I may not like the answer.

Seems like it would've been a good lesson here.

My mum always told me not to ask questions where I may not like the answer.

Same. It’s a key piece of advice that, for some reason, is alien to a lot of people.

She told me the same about eavesdropping too lol. You might hear something you don't like and it's only your own fault.

It's just weird to me if you're saying you want honest advice then get upset people tell it how it is. You forfeit that when you literally ask for it. I'll admit I have asked questions where I haven't liked the answer but it was also something I needed to hear so I didn't have a fit about it.

Am I your brother?

I think it's one of those mum phrases.

Similar to how every dad says "what do you think this is, Blackpool illuminations?" when you left a light on.

It does amuse me how universal those phrases seem to be though.

I mean it's reddit. It's the internet. What do you expect?

Raw internet is super fucking negative. You can put up totally innocuous stuff and get all sorts of unhinged crazy comments. Which is why I basically don't ever buy the "I'm a victim" narrative when people say they get mean online comments. Yeah what do you expect?

Unless you maintain a heavily moderated super positive hug box where negativity is banned, you'll get negativity. You can't even complain about it.

If someone randomly comes up to you and calls you ugly they are the asshole. If you go and ask people their opinion you can't complain when they give you an opinion you don't like. You asked for it.

I was wondering how long it would take for anyone here to figure out I was trans.

About as long as it takes for visual signals to travel from the eye to the brain.

The possessive neutral pronoun is "its", no apostrophe.

I hate that I can't view the NSFW stuff on mobile without being logged in.

Lies about being female

Admits to simply trying to pass

Later admits to prefer sincerity over validation

Proceeds to call people transphobic

It always starts with a lie, that's what these people were sold, now they try to sell it to us.

Problem is, we know it's a worthless, useless, ugly, doggone lie.
