Man, it’s almost like part of the allure of trooning out is that they have an excuse to be selfish lazy fucks.

Not surprised at the comments telling zir to lie to their mom, because lying is the one thing they are good at.

It's the "struggling artist" thing for people with no actual skills

They have an excuse to justify their under-achievement and avoid personal responsibility. They're never gonna give that up

See, if this person got a job and was living on their own, they could respectfully tell mom to fuck off and mind her own business. But because they're modding lesbian reddit subs in their mom's basement and still on her teet, she, rightfully, feels she can tell them to grow the fuck up and take care of themselves.

It’s not a waste of time to be yourself

If you're spending any time "being" something, then you aren't being yourself. Being yourself is effortless; it takes no thought, no energy. It's easy, you just go with the flow of reality.

Being transgender is hard.

Exactly my point. Being something you're not takes work. And unless your goal is to be someone you're not, then you're wasting your time.

Highest voted comment is to lie to the mother about studying.

It's the kind of advice you'd expect from like...14 year old boys, with no grasp of what awaits them in the real world. So it's doubly embarrassing when the poster has flair that's like "Proud 40 year old MtF" lmao

The internet is fascinating. A whole coterie of listless, porn-addled narcissists, all corroborating to powerfully drag each other back into the crab bucket.

I imagine similar conversations occurred in the penultimate days of Heaven's Gate and Jonestown, but we weren't lucky enough to be privy to them. Anthropologists of the future will have their work cut out for them!

Jonestown but if everyone was Jim Jones instead

Reply with "Maybe you should quit focusing on my transgender stuff and let me do my thing"

THIS. Mom needs to understand that her son is gone and let go of that parasite that took his place.

How tf are they going to be lesbians if they can't even respect their own mom?

[–]LyingSpirit472 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

That is unfair. It's very likely the person respects their own mom. (Respect, of course, having the meaning "this person gives me cummies or could possibly be bullied into giving me cummies" in snart language.)

Answer: cut out your evil, transphobic family and focus on being transgender (whatever that means) 24/7. It's hard work!

also why they get so buttmad about "not all LGBTs make it their entire personality, y'know": they openly don't want to talk about anything else, do anything else, or have anyone else think about anything else--genderfluidity notoriously demands you expect to change pronouns by the day or the hour: it's all about getting into someone else's head, making them pliant to your whim alone

remember the "gentle reminder" to go to a cafe with your friends and practice using the right pronoun for an hour before first meeting someone who changed?

and of course it's people with the wherewithal to be on their phone 18 hours a day like Boomers with their cable TV, it's fuckin' morbid

The responses by the Reddit Clown Corps, are alarming to say the least. I can only imagine the embarrassment that poor mom feels seeing her child trooning out, pompously asserting their pronouns, posting about how feminine or masculine they feel while totally missing that their behavior is almost certainly exactly what we’d all expect from a confused man or woman trying to pretend to be the opposite sex. Pretentiously policing everyone around like you’re the pronoun patrol isn’t exactly going to be something mom is gonna want to write about in the annual Christmas letter.

“Jesus Christ, what a fuck up they turned out to be… grandchildren are out of the question, but at this point, that might be a blessing…”

I know what you should do. Either get a job or join your tranny sisters in their 41% solution to their problems.
