We're a local sub: Posts should be related to issues of general interest in and around Vancouver, WA and Clark County.
No free advertising: Self-promotional posts for commercial products/services are discouraged. Please support the site and buy a targeted ad. This includes crowdfunding. There are some exceptions to this rule. Generally this includes charity events or threads about paid public events where the focus of the post is discussion rather than an attempt to drum up business.
Lost/stolen property or missing persons: Please include a news story about the issue or the case number and the agency to which this has been reported. If you fail to follow this rule, you can edit your post after it has been removed and the moderation team will put it back up. Posts should not encourage people to contact anyone but the responsible agency.
Editorialized/misleading titles: Unnecessarily inflammatory or clickbait posts may be removed.
Low-quality posts: Duplicate posts, getting people to take your extra stuff for free, job postings, loud noises, etc ... will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please do not use URL shorteners - those clog up the spam filter.
