All the big Subreddits are ran by Wumaos.

At one stage /r/news had a lot of people from /r/worldnews move over because of shit mods but then /r/news went to shit as well. That site is a steaming pile of shit now. I only use it for /r/volleyballgirls and /r/aww on my phone to look at dog gifs.

This is the case with many "news" reddit subs, which are all tightly controlled so that only a specific narrative passes through.
