LIFE 1968 the year that changed the world
The year that changed a nation—through the lens of LIFE magazine
There was a contentious presidential election, an unpopular war, and the assassination of two leaders. In addition to a resistance and a rebellion that both shocked and galvanized a nation. Revisit 1968, one of the most pivotal years in modern history, a year that saw profound changes in everything from politics to race relations, music, art and culture. 1968 lets readers explore this turbulent year through unforgettable photographs from the LIFE archive, as well as essays to place them in their historical context. Events unfold before your eyes, with essays on the Vietnam War and the antiwar movement, the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy, NASA and the space race, rock and political activism, and the 1968 presidential election. Dozens of iconic photos plus meaningful quotes from some of the most powerful voices of the era make LIFE 1968 a thought-provoking remembrance of American history. The high point of New Left activism was in 1968, as a wave of radical protest swept across the globe.

New Left political movement
after New Left faded following this pulse in 1968, it gradually became mainstream Leftism as the education system became flooded with Frankfurt School acolytes, and favor for socialist ideals came to permeate media, corporate management, and government. Corruption of traditional culture was contained mostly in these elements of society, did not have much effect on working classes who were not exposed to academic Marxism.
In the mid-1960s there was a paradigm shift in social attitudes. Traditional and other familiar themes took a turn Leftwards, and gained hegemony, especially in culture and policy, until recent events have showed clear evidence of ending that era, the pendulum swinging backwards.
Yes, there was a time when Cosmos (mostly Giuz) were outsiders, they wanted IN (to mainstream American WASP society). In post-mid-1960s that wishful thinking made rapid advances, until recently, their program to shift WestCiv paradigms was nearly achieved in full.

Antipathy of college society to US involvement in Viet Nam was high during that time; that same academic year (1969-1970) saw a Moratorium March in Nov. which I attended in DC, and on my campus, another protest or demonstration nightime march with hundreds of people carrying candles.

Behind the Anti-War Protests That Swept America in 1968 Jan.2018| time
Many people feel (including me) that war is ONLY justified in self-defense, and the "danger must be clear and present", not just a spooky suggestion like the "domino theory", or a fabricated, false flag attack like sinking of ships. Americans were never directly threatened by communists anywhere in Southeast Asia, including Viet Nam. The real threat is at home, in our popular culture and government.

why Globalist Agenda Left-oriented?
short answer: Leftism is a polite code-word for Communism, which is like Fascism, both being extreme authoritarian systems dividing society into a small cadre of super elite patricians and a mass of impoverished plebs. Globalists identify with the former, despise the latter, aim to eradicate most of them, but hide that aim with scams. Internet has helped the plebs 'snap-out-of' the scams, thus National Populism has 'awakened' (not to be confused with 'woke', a slang word for abiding by political correctness, a scam of the Left.

Early motion picture industry was a work-around Edison's patents. The wild west (south California) was a magical mystery tour far from the reach of Eastern Establishment America (and its family bankers). Being fairy-tale tellers extraordinaire for millenia, Jewish money poured into the fledgling film industry (early 20th cent.), but after much success, it morphed into a psy-op of the Judasot kind.
