I can't vote for this for several reasons. I know enough to be dangerous but I don't know enough to know if this article is as biased as I suspect it is. Without views on it from other perspectives I can't triangulate on the general truths and make an informed opinion. Venezuela has been under attack for a lot of reasons for a long time. They don't have a central bank system under the B.I.S., they are sitting on vast rich untapped resources, they have a very strong and healthy socialist system (regardless of what propaganda tells you), and they have a elite oligarchs who are trying to disrupt their country by starving them out. (Socialism is not failing and keeping their grocery stores empty and food scarce, it is the oligarch who control the food supply that are doing this.)

The CIA has a vast history of attempting and often succeeding in assassinations and coup d'etats. Was Hugo Chavez poisoned/assassinated? It wouldn't be the first president poisoned. (FDR, etc.)
