The move, which Trump announced in a tweet days prior, was widely seen as an attempt to boost Netanyahu who is up for re-election on April 9.

And everyone is complaining about Russian influence? What about this extremely obvious and open Israeli influence? Our media just gives that a pass? It's nonsense, and it shows who really owns the US news media.

Israel captured the Golan in the 1967 Middle East war and annexed it in 1981 in a move not recognized internationally.

And then Trump just recognizes it now. Trump is such a Zionist supporter. How can you "drain the swamp" when you're doing the bidding of the key people responsible for the swamp? What a joke. I can't believe anyone still falls for this guy.

The US administration certainly wouldn't want to offend its' biggest customer.

I heard a commentator the other day, might've been Jimmy Dore.

He said: "What if you were Trump, and you decided you didn't want to do a second term, that all this bullshit wasn't the way you wanted to spend your 70's after all? Maybe you'd just do a few things that were completely nuts and make no sense at all, and rule yourself out of the game?"

Edit: Might also NOT have been Jimmy Dore, I don't remember.

Or, there's the Reagan solution... just slip right off the plate.

Interesting theory, but the things that are "completely nuts and make no sense at all" are more very exactly what the military-industrial complex wants, to a tee.
