Before Reddit crashed down in flames, I used to enjoy frequenting the r/writing. That subreddit was composed mostly of newer writers who asked for advices and, despite being pretty new to writing too, I liked to tell them some suggestions.

The current subsaidit I see here seems to be more aimed towards linking other websites containing useful writing tips. I completely understand that and find it useful, but I think it would be better if we let s/Writing more open to let new writers ask for advice for their plots, to discuss writing strategies and even allow some off-topic.

Now that Reddit has gone full crazy, as an aspiring writer, I really want this Writing community to grow strong enough so no one will miss the r/writing. I see some users are browsing this currently, so I see some potential here.
