• Most mainstream systems like mass media, politics, finance are currently dissipative, maintaining passive inactivation of the public.

• While some initiatives activate agency, dissipative approaches tend to ultimately dissipate even that grassroots energy.

• Sustaining alternatives that aggregate distributed capacities hold most potential for equitable transformation.

• Short-term "anti-x" campaigns have high risk of functioning as activist heatsinks if not tied to systemic reform vision/strategy.

• Comparing outcomes illustrates where paradigm shifts are rippling outwards from localized cells of participatory problem-solving.

 
This diagnostic tool aids discerning leverage points and strategies with highest likelihood of cultivating the conditions that restore widespread empowerment, cooperation and well-being on multi-dimensional scales over the long run.
