This quote from their chief puts it quite well:

This kind of shit is how wars start. The people defacing statues of any kind need to curb their enthusiasm.

The Queen literally has her wages paid by the British tax payer.

Any wealth they have right now is due to clever financial investment and property ownership in the UK.
