Either people are that stupid and actually believe it AND/OR they are getting foreign money involved somewhere/somehow keeping them from JUST going under so they won't declare bankruptcy. Hence all these paywalls and shit since they actually are broke but not broke enough to actually go under.

Do you think businesses should be given government kickbacks?

They farm hate clicks.

If people get so angry they have to read the article to argue against it and then share it they are driving traffic to the site which then gets the advertisers buying space.

Traffic. Good, bad, or otherwise it doesn't matter. It's the clicks and ad revenue that matters.

As far as I know, saidit has zero ad revenue. Most sites have various forms of propaganda on them. If we all agreed, there would be no use for such sites.
