I'm for a ban on Tik Tok but this bill does go too far. Still, we do need to be able to counter foreign propaganda aimed at destroying or at least destabilizing the US.

And outlaw domestic propaganda again.

And require both sides of a news story be give equal weight again.

We don't even have free speech as is, that's why we're on Saidit. We can only say what we want here because nobody pays attention to us.

It's still a work in progress but ultimately it will be an entirely new, separate, entirely decentralized internet.

It's already functional but needs work on the peer to peer networking (just need a router, no ISP, as long as you are close to other people in the network).

100% open source.

Requires a basic Windows, Mac or Linux PC running the software, which should be left running and connected online 24/7, so others can connect to or through your node. Minting new coins relies on time, not how powerful your computer is, and the more people minting the more coins there will be, to encourage spending instead of hoarding.

We are close to being digitally enslaved, likely forever.

Qortal is a real chance to simply side-step the current system and build our own, for the public, by the public, with nobody in charge.

The faster and larger it grows, the harder it will be to stop it
