I love it because it's quirky and intelligent. Myq Kaplan is an American I also love for those reasons.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Myq+Kaplan would occasionally appear on talk shows as the concluding comedian act in 2010-2015 or so. I watched a lot then under a fog. Since then I don't know. He was never huge or promoted or pushed, but was always more clever and quirky.
