We got equality in the USA, equal rights. Everyone is created equal. We don't have the same outcomes for college and careers. If a person has a PHD in gender studies they won't be able to get a good paying job in business or IT. Not everyone is going to earn 6 figures or end up like Bill Gates.

The main point is (again and again), Repugs have had most of the control. Indeed, there have been a few Democrats who've helped the Repugs. I am not arguing that there are no Democrat wealthy assholes. For example, it's very good Pelosi will retire, as she's famously enabled some of the corruption on the Hill. She's also been (along with the majority) against restricting insider trading among elected officials, which is corrupt.
