The CIA has been involved in the manipulation of the media and propaganda before, so Operation Mockingbird is a good reminder of such operations.

In Operation Mockingbird the CIA worked with many news sites in order to manipulate content and spread propaganda. If you ask me, at least when it comes to the US the CIA is the organization that has the most control over the media and it extends even outside of the US. The jesuits are also the group that control the CIA.
