Oh yeah, it's done. Sore throat and dry cough aren't PLEASANT but it's just a trumped up cold IMHO. And I have Lyme disease and a number of coinfections, so I am quite well immune-compromised.

Maybe. 99% of those who died in Italy had pre-existing medical conditions. And the average age of those who died was 79.5 years old. Sadly, people do get old and die. I read where a guy fell and hit his head and died because of the fall. But he'd tested positive for the virus, so they counted it as a coronavirus death. They are looking for ways to make the numbers higher to scare people and validate the hype.

My brother who works in an ER thought it was a joke, but people are now coming in with full symptoms. He was exposed the other day when a guy drove his car to the ER, then collapsed in the driver's seat once at the door. My brother, and a couple other went out to check on the guy passed out. He leaned in the car, and gave the guy a sternum rub, which my brother is all proud of how painful he can do it, and 'everyone responds'... This guy didn't, then died a few hours later.

So it sounds strongly like the classic ARDS. The hospital had some sort of risk management clinician rate my brother's exposure, as 'high', and now he's wearing full PPE to work; otherwise he'd have to take personal time.

I don't know the real lethality of this bug, but I know my brother's attitude has changed on it.

How old was the "guy"? Old folks die from pneumonia and CoV all the time, every year. Also, the testing for corona includes all corona, not just CoV19.
