When I was a kid, I remember we were on a church trip and the tv in the restaurant was showing the US beginning to bomb Baghdad. I remember me and my friends cheering and high-fiving each other, like it was a party. We didn't know any better as kids... and that's basically how the news was presenting it.

Islam will always be at odds with western cultures, but it would have been nice to take on the ones that took part in 9/11 instead of messing around
