A lot of the philosophy of Nietzsche deals with loneliness and fighting back against herd values, so I think this is an interesting concept of him. It's not originally his but he took it as part of his philosophy.

Nietzsche said that if there are no factual values in this world and no soul to pass on to another body, but yet, there is still an infinite amount of time, we should live our lives in a way that we can do it all over again as if it would happen forever. Nietzsche never said that's the way things worked, but more like people should see this like a mental exercise.
