I believe this was before she recieved the vaccine, but I still think it is telling how she passed out while talking about how she is going to be one of the first to get it. She is clearly not thrilled about it. I would quit.

I feel that whenever a news story starts with "nurse says ..." or "Nurse does ..." everyone needs to remember that they are the group of people which contains most of the biggest hypochondriacs on this planet.

Even the pathological forms of hypochondria, munchausens and munchausens by proxy, are far more common in nurses than any other profession.

Yes, they have medical and practical expertise but, yes, they are also likely to be obsessed with being ill and assume they will get illness. If they are told there's a one in a million chance of getting side effects they won't think "that's safe", they will think "that will be me."

Studies have shown that - just the thought of getting a vaccine causes autism.

Real cute. I guess getting your ass handed to you last time didn't make an impression. You probably think simply acting as if it didn't happen people don't see it.

What the fuck are you talking about?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

There's a vasovagal reaction some of us have just thinking about needles that probably caused this.

I get the same thing. If I'm getting a shot or blood drawn I can't think about it or watch, or I'll get sick.

Hospital nurses make good money. Even in Mississippi the average pay is $60,000/year without overtime. The job sucks though.

Twitter has already nuked it.

Thanks for this.

Perhaps part of the problem is that it's called the 'Gates vaccine'. Bill must have called them and told them to take it down.

Nurses do get exhausted, as they often have 12 - 16 hour shifts and regularly do not get much sleep, and this year have dealt with an overwhelming number of COVID patients in some hospitals. And she may have been nervous.

Moreover, she now has autism, because of the vaccine.

Huge save.

+3 for the Vigilant Watchman.

In 2007 I was building a set and got a huge splinter in my arm. Pressure treated wood (cancerous). Not infected, but it took years for it to dissolve away. Back then it healed over instead of working its way out. This little hard piece was in there, right near the vein in the corner of my elbow. I tried to get it cut out at the free-clinic at Haight-Ashbury. They said I passed out before they even put the scalpel to my skin but I didn't notice any disruption. I didn't know I was a pussy. They said come back when you're not green. I didn't go back.

Is it hard to set up a PeerTube server box at home? Do you get a lot of bandwidth usage? Should I get a dedicated line? Can PeerTube work with FreeNAS or that other one you said was better? 2021 is the year I'm gonna do it (after the garden, but before the still).

Nope, just the same hoops of hosting most things from home, you have to configure port forwarding on your router to send web traffic to your correct machine.

Do you get a lot of bandwidth usage?

Nah not really. I would be in the terabytes of storage though if I allowed people to upload hollywood movies and shit.

Should I get a dedicated line?

Nah

Can PeerTube work with FreeNAS or that other one you said was better? 2021 is the year I'm gonna do it (after the garden, but before the still).

Yes it's very flexible, just give it a big folder and it's set.

I would much rather get sick with the Coco.

Edit: We need a vaccine awareness meme like "COVID wasn't really that bad..."

Covid doesn't kill.

Unless of course you're coughing yourself to death. But to each their own.

The human trials are going great!

This should cull the gullible wonderfully.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

No deaths for those taking the vaccine, however. Perhaps you refer to the gullible anti-vaxers who will endanger and kill themselves and others in the next few months.

[–]Leo_Littlebook 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

No, by gullible I refer to those like you, who treat an untested vaccine as safer than a known virus with a minimal impact on quality-adjusted life years.

As for the effects, who says they're going to show up in this generation? Genes are funny things.

Your insinuation that the unvaccinated kill others is amusing. Are we banning self-harm? Pretty spicy anti-GLBT take you've got there. And if the vaccine works, what have the vaccinated to fear from those developing herd immunity the natural way?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

1) What do you think has happened with the vaccines the past few months? They've been tested on hundreds of people. It's a tested vaccine.

2) If the effects do not appear within a few months, studies have shown that they'll not likely show up later. There is - for example - no incidence of the polio vaccine taken by kids several generations ago effecting the genes of following generations.

3) It's not an insinuation, it's a fact, that people who choose not to vaccinate infect others who do not vaccinate and this results in the deaths of some of those people. Thus: anti-vaxers kill people.

So do vaxxers. She's dead.

https://gab.com/bigshowfishin/posts/105403943924467524

Probably not the first, certainly not the last.

Vaccines normally undergo years of testing that were skipped.

Never before have mRNA vaccines — such as the two-dose Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines that have now received emergency use authorization from the FDA — been approved for use in any disease.

If anti-vaxxers are responsible for contagion spread, then vaxxers are responsible for vaccine side effects. You can't have it both ways.

And now I'm tired of your intellectual dishonesty. Blocked.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Are you serious? You linked to a claim that is not true. A quick check will let you know that she's not dead. She was also discussed on Saidit. Why believe in obvious lies? What good does that do you and others around you?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I don't pass out but I do freak out and get nauseous when I get a shot or see blood, so this could happen to me but I don't see why it would happen to a nurse, you'd think they're used to giving and also getting shots

[–]tomatosplat 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Nursing school has them practice taking and giving shots to each other.
