I think for people to develop a healthy mind they need to have some level of trust in the people and authorities around them. The idea that authorities are corrupt beyond repair is being pushed all the time in order to make people develop an unhealthy egotism. I think even the conspiracy movement serves this purpose in a large extend.

Children should be taught to value truth since they are small, be it through mathematics, history and learning about ethics in general. The current Post-Modern state, in which extreme nihilism and irrationality dominate many places is a result of the ruling class destroying meaningful authorities.

As a corollary to where you're going with this, the most important strategy at this point is not tearing down the old order. We can let it continue to die the ignominious death it's currently dying on its own. Most important now is building up alternative structures among ourselves to replace the functions which were prior ceded to the corrupt central authorities. Make their systems unnecessary and go about our lives out of their reach. It's happening; people are doing this. But this process needs urgency. As the power-grabbers realize what we're doing, they are becoming more desperate and are taking harsher and harsher reprisals. Time is of the essence.
