It's inevitable for people to seek wealth in current society. There's so many issues that need to be solved so a responsible authority should get involved in it too. There seems to be a push to recognize people for their wealth itself, but as a philosopher I think people should be judged by the good they bring to their collective. I think very low of the people that reject collectivism in an extreme fashion. I think part of the reason why the ruling groups have been so succesful is because of the way radical individualism has been promoted.

People have a natural need to be recognized by others and to seek the well-being and greatness of their group. So the more good you bring to the collective, the better.
