    Firstly, Jews are an ethno-religious group; not all of them even believe in God.

    Secondly, the left in general believes strongly that religion has agency, especially when you are blaming "evangelicals" for Republican stances on abortion or sex education. Why don't the beliefs of Jews in power affect the decisions they make?

      Just for the record calling Jews just a religion is pathetic. Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein didn't practice Judaism but they were still Jewish.       People can do whatever they want in the name of whoever they want, but it's still individuals doing those things. Do you look at Christian fundies taking Genesis literally and conclude that Christians don't believe in evolution?

        But the point remains that when you blame a group for the actions of individuals you're mostly condemning innocent people. You already know this because you don't blame white people as a group when a white person commits a crime, but you have a different standard for judging minorities.

        They're not blaming white people though, they're blaming racists and the systems that enable them. The alt right just claims otherwise to derail the discussion and make it look like the left is no better than them in terms of actual solutions.

        It is absolutely real. Examine the actual theory that is the foundation for ideas like White privilege and it is actually the central assumption that ALL Whites are consciously and even unconsciously involved in a conspiracy to unfairly hoard wealth and influence for themselves at the expense of other groups.

        It's a type of blood libel against all Whites and I'm amazed you're denying that.

          Do I blame all blacks for the crimes of one black person? No. Di I blame all jews for the crimes of one jewish person? No.

          I don't know about you in particular, but by their rhetoric and positions most of the alt right absolutely does.

          I want to add one aspect. If some guy commits a crime, I will ask the question "why did he do this?". I will try to find out what lead this guy to commit this act. Here you often find systemic problems and then one needs to ask the question "is our society (or at least parts of it) failing?". I still do not blame everyone for this act, but if you really want to "solve" these issues (or at least reduce these problems), you will have to look at the big picture and not only focus on the perpetrator alone. This brings me back to my original hypothesis, one can not completely separate an individual from his environment.

          You're basically describing postmodern liberalism. You bring up any problem, the alt right solution is generally to persecute some minority group. Take wealth inequality. The liberal solution is labor rights, social programs, and corporate regulation while the alt right solution is to persecute the jews. Same with violent crime, that alt right's suggestion is just to persecute black people.

          The Jewish religion explicitly states it's a matriarchal genetic tribe. Sperma of Abraham. Converting to Judaism is difficult and convoluted on purpose. Your point is moot.           The fact they are individuals doesnt change anything about the issue. Freemasons are individuals as well, but if every major media company was headed by a freemason and they attacked and censored anyone who criticized freemasonry, that would be problematic for the same reason every almost every media company being headed by Jews is.

          Another point. You are also being intentionally misleading by bringing up catholics. I would be concerned if catholics completely dominated the media as well, but not as concerned as with Jews for a few reasons.

          1. Catholicism is inherently universalist, unlike judaism. Anyone could convert to catholicism tomorrow without too much trouble, unlike Judaism.

          2. There is no nuclear armed catholic ethnostate, unlike with Judiasm, which not only has one, but also has an aggressive lobby in the US pushing the interests of that ethnostate over the wellbeing of Americans.

          3. Jewish identity is also tied to ethnicity, unlike Catholocism. There is no such thing as an athiest, or even agnostic Catholic. There are lots of atheist Jews, sometimes for several generations. Judaism is inherently exclusionary.

          Agreed, but the poor Jew, there are not many in the, US would have little to no complicity in the scheme, other than being anti-Christ and perpetuating the scheme unknowingly. For Jews in the upper echelon of society, they act as a collevtive but NOT a monolith for there is plenty of infighting between Orthodox and Hasidic sects. Which Jewish sects have the reigns over politics and banks?

          Of course, usury is fine in Judaism, so that makes it antithetical to Christianity and Islam.
