Whole doc is here: https://vimeo.com/348539901

It's pretty interesting especially from a hereditarian perspective as OP points out.

Just watched the whole thing. Interesting, but I found it really scummy that the filmmakers were basically implying that the man's adopted father is to blame for his suicide.

On another note, I find the primacy of nurture position to be very insidious because it's used as justification for social engineering and interference.

The concept of nurture or environment is riddled with nature (genetics). How people behave has a genetic component and behavior affect everything, therefore how we shape our environments also has a genetic component. None of this is 100 or 0, or black and white, it's a mix, but the very framing of this debate, nature vs. nurture, seems to often ignore this fact and paint it in a way to barricade people from ever moving beyond it. It's time to step over it. Our genetics influences everything we do, period. So now knowing this the conversation needs to move on to: how can this information be best used going forward?

Before they went to college both Eddy and David had spent time in mental health hospitals while Robert was on probation after having pleaded guilty to charges connected to the murder of a woman in a 1978 robbery.

One of the triplets has committed suicide before learning about the study. The records are restricted until October 25, 2065. I can see why.

SPOILER ALERT is that it didn't, that in fact it was their genetics that determined basically everything that had to do with how the child ended up.

That's been getting increasingly more obvious as time moved on. In fact I've got a collection of studies into all kind of things, like income, IQ, self control and crime, and they all show genetics is a major player.

Some studies are even picking up specific genes. Surprise surprise, genes for higher IQ lead to less poverty.

The far left started to spot the science was going against them about 10 years ago. The DNA studies showing intelligence was mostly inherited etc were supporting all kind of non PC stuff. If you read through them, it's pretty obvious that genetics is a major part in class and wealth difference. Not oppression and privilege.

Can't have that getting into the public consciousness. Who'll vote for socialism then?

It's why they are kicking off now, they've realised they have to mute the science. If you read political stuff, you'll see a shit load of hate directed at all science, even maths, for being white supremacist.

Silencing the science is necessary to keep the public in the dark. .

Western leftists aren't interested in socialism anymore. And you'll never get what you want through voting.

Interesting study. Good story and videos. Would like to see more studies like it.

In the same vein, there have been studies showing that a first-born child is much more likely than later-born children to do well in life. Of course they are not twins, only siblings, but even that small variation in genetics can have observable effects. I have always guessed that variation was due to nurture, not nature, but perhaps there is more to it.
