In addition to child porn, they've specified that "information on committing suicide, and drug-related content" must also be removed. In other words, a ban on Twitter is definitely happening.

I am extremely excited for this. This is one more step towards a "great firewall" for Russia that will block out the most subversive elements of Western internet. This will contribute to Russian stability and resistance to globohomo in the long run.

It's unfortunate that Twitter is going to lose the Russian perspective though. Not to say that it was very prevalent to begin with. Almost every interesting Russian account on that platform has already been banned.

They don't care about CP, Russian side of the internet is much more of the Wild West in regards to illegal content but they are using this as a convenient excuse because they would like to ban twitter which is a good thing.

If countries had any sovereignty left, they would ban half of tech companies for the evils done under their auspices. Also the RF is severely guilty of this very crime, pot kettle.
