I don't know much about ZeroHP and AuronMacintyre but BAP and his consortium (formerly 'frog twitter') are a legit wing of the dissident right.

I'm not sure how long you've been engaged with third position politics but influencing the mainstream is a positive not a negative. If conservatives steal select DR talking points and books that's not a bad thing. It helps to cleave the overton window and spread the political divide more. I think it's an attempt to shift the dissident right from "I want to save my race" to "I want to save myself", and it goes hand in hand with the whole shift towards self-improvement, nutrition, lifting, homesteading, etc. But to be honest I can't tell if that's a malicious shift or if that's just pragmatic given the current operating conditions.
