Stabilizing the all-volunteer force goes beyond bonuses. The number of Americans qualified to join the military is getting smaller. Of the nation’s 31.8 million 17- to 24-year-olds, only 9.1 million meet the initial requirements. Of those, only 4.4 million meet academic requirements. The pool is further reduced by those who have police records, drug/substance abuse issues, or are obese. These factors rapidly shrink the initial pool of 31.8 million to about 465,000 attractive recruits, many of whom will have opportunities in the private sector.

How do only 4.4 million out of 31.8 million meet academic requirements which is essentially a HS diploma?

Obviously there are lots of exceptions and you have to be careful about lumping generations together as there really isnt a strict dividing line between them, but generally speaking I find zoomers totally disgusting. They are a wasted generation with no real redeemable qualities that hopefully is just an aberration, an unholy product of unprecedented Jewish societal domination that will hopefully be resolved before it completely destroys the west.

At the end of the day, you can only do so much raising a kid. They are seperate individuals with their own minds, not property or pets. Subject to the constant influences of media, social media, peer pressure, intimidation(like the floyd riots), and educational indoctrination. You can feed, shelter, clothe, try to teach them right from wrong and the value of hard work, but they are subjected to continuous propaganda. Degenerate anti white shit is everywhere all the time now, and is even mandatory for college students. This is the result of Jews gradually taking over nearly everything that has influence, especially social media. Why do you think Jews freaked out so badly over Musk trying to buy twitter. Wealthy Jewish oligarchs buy up media all the time, in fact nearly all of it is owned by them. Even right wing Jews can buy it up and the media doesnt say a word about it, but with Musks they went masks off. Social media is now their crown jewell, replacing legacy, print AND cable media, although all of it combined is so strong it's inescapable now.

I'm an older Millennial and even I was exposed to some of this in school. It's ghastly now though.

I'm disqualified because of my ADHD script (have since quit) and their new system auto detects prescriptions so you can't lie about it. That probably slashes numbers even further lmao considering just how many people are prescribed psychiatric medication in this country.

This is strange. If I recall correctly, they even allow personnel with AIDS to remain in the military despite the danger that poses to their fellow combatants. Yet ADHD prescriptions disqualify a man from service?

You can get diagnosed with ADHD after signing on and they won't kick you out, you can even get meds for it in the military. It's only if you get prescribed beforehand that it's a problem, it might be similar with AIDS (which if medicated doesn't spread). They crack down on anyone who's dependent on meds. I think depression, anxiety, etc are all disqualifying as well. Autism too which precludes /our/guys lmao.

    That's the standard in every country, at least western, as long as I know. I suffer insomnia and was as such disqualified - even though I didn't really tried to join the military, I was mostly looking into doing a little bit of service in order to get in par with the previous generation, which were automatically conscripted. What's strange is the academic requirements. You need a graduation to be an official, but usually they keep the requirements pretty low for everything else.

    I'm honestly too old now, 29, and I have my stuff going on, can't simply quit my job for 2 years to live an experience. Plus, I was looking into serving my country, not France or Russia, even though that if Russia was after western volunteers I could have gone that way. But they are refuting even their own volunteers, clearly they want only the professionals on the field.

    No, they won't allow you in if you have prenscribed medications for sleeping - or for anything else really. It's extremly costly to form and mantain a soldier even if he is perfectly healthy so that makes sense. The physical test isn't particurarly hard - unless you aim for the elite corps - but you also need to pass a psychological test (easy to cheat, the doctor is going to ask for pretty obvius stuff like "are you going to subvert democratical insitutions? Do you enjoy killing peoples?") and a medical test were they search for any kind of problem you may have. You'll going to have bloodworks alongside the rest of the tests, and they have access to all your medical history. I suffer from insomnia since i was 13 and i was prescribed medications at 17, when i went a full week without sleeping. it's not a big deal but the military simply won't let me in. I have a few (two) friends who joined the french legion and yeah, there there's just the physical test and it's also extremly easy, you just need to complete 13 pull ups, but all of them eventually dropped out as soon as they could - you are going to deal with criminals and non-europeans (one joined because he wasn't fit enough for the national army, the other one was a moldavian immigrant, so non-eu, and just wanted to serve as a soldier for a white country). I wouldn't recomend. But honestly wouldn't even recomend serving in the dombass army. I knew personally only one guy who served there probably 3 or 4 years ago, but he basically came back totally disgusted and firm in never leave the country again. Also apparently a few guys from New Force (Forza Nuova) served there and one was killed, but idk, i didn't know them.

    I was recently proposed by a friend of mine, who is in the army, to apply directly for an officer position, since i meet most of the requirements, and it's something i'm going to do in a year or so when my job contract will expire, but i don't think i'll meet the age requirements now. We'll see, but if i recall correctly they were looking for people in their early 20s. Also i think i'm more useful for the nation keeping doing what i do right now rather than being a non-field working official for the army, and the pay is basically the same.

    sry, when i say the army, i speak about all the armed forces. The contest is basically the same for all of them: physical test, medical examination, written test, psychological test, then if you are accepted you are sent to the training. Probably they have lower requirements for the Carabinieri, but they are just policemen which happen to be part of the armed force for hystorical reasons.

    I had no idea the government had access to people's records with what is now pretty common therapy. The overdisgbosis on this stuff is off the chsrts. I have seen internal documentd of a major pharmaceutical.producer of a prescribed ADHD medication.... This would in effect rule out one fortune of the young boys on ADHD alone...
