There is nothing wrong with supporting the European project or being against Russia. It is the "European project" that needs to become sovereign and liberate itself from American influence and that should be the goal.

Btw the article lacks of context. I said previously that the right is scared because the EU could interfere with the elections. We are waiting for 200 billions and they will surely try to use the money as leverage to increase the left consensus. This pledge of allegiance is intended to reassure the people that they are going to get the cash, basically. About the NATO, Meloni is trying to use this war to justify an increased military spending aimed towards a bigger role of Italy in the Mediterranean. I'm not making up that stuff, she explicitly said that a month ago during the Milanese convection. Obviously still, there won't be anything major coming up - except for the nigger problem, where they want to put up a militarized blockade on the sea, and the gender problem, where they want to provide (mostly economical) support for traditional family and some hardcore stuff.

What the article is not saying, but is also very important, is that not only the right is going to win, but thanks to some ridiculous stuff the left did in the last weeks, the right is also projected to get 90% of the uninominal electoral colleges, which would translate in a parliamentarian majority able to change the constitution without a referendum. So they are trying to do their best to avoid foreign interference.

a parliamentarian majority able to change the constitution without a referendum

Given sufficient boldness and courage, that sounds like it could be interesting.

They want to change the constitution in order to make the presidential election direct, basically like France. The rationale behind is that the left was unable to win the popular vote in the last 30 years and they only get to the government trought last minute coalitions or with unelected technical governments, so they think this is going to beneficial for the right. It's a kinda smart move but nothing particularly revolutionary by itself. The left however is absolutely scared because, well, they were unable to win the popular vote in the last 30 years and it doesn't seem like they will be able to do so in the near future.

That's the only change they are interested in?

Who knows? They are very quiet right now. But honestly I don't think they are going to actually win that hard, so it's just talking.

Is Letta jewish? He somehow looks like one but I can''t really tell.

As long as I know there are no prominent Jews in Italian politics. Also Letta was in the Christian Democracy before the '90s so it seems unlikely.

I would be happy with Meloni as long as she doesn't cuck on immigration, nativism and social issues.

Last time Italy had a fascist government, they channeled this against Greece for no reason other that sheer expansionism:

Yeah, I know. I would support a Mediterranean superstate honestly, but that won't be the case. They want gas and oil this time.

It's difficult for me to consider a leak what is openly spoke about since the start of the year...

They are already pushing it with what zog eill accept and angering zog. No democracy can go against zog since countries that do end up like Russia or Iran. You can't get 50% of the population to vote for being massively sanctioned. Most people care about petty economic issues and being anti zog is the best way to ensure financial collapse. Saddam hussein was anti zog and iraq had mass starvation in the 90s. If Iraqis could have voted they would have voted for cheap food from Nestlé even if they hate Israel.

Italy has huge debts and an economy heavily integrated into the global financial system. Regardless of who is prime Minister in Italy they will be loyal servants to the empire.

Trying to save the west through elections is meaningless.

When did Iraq have mass starvation in the 90s?

[–]TheJamesRocket 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There was an interview with Madeleine Albright where she acknowledged the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children from the sanctions, and said that this was an acceptable price to pay to punish Saddam.

Finally, some nuance. Furthering yourself from Russia doesn’t mean you accept the ‘Globalist’ ideology.

The masses see Russia as some sort of asiatic horde starving to rip through Europe. The elite wouldn’t touch Russian businesses with a 10-foot pole for fear of economy retribution.

This isn’t ideology, this is pragmatism.
