Youtube channel about transportation infrastructure fails to mention what really causes urban dysfunction

Just stumbled on this channel with almost a million subs.

His theory is that the US was just greedy and allowed car manufacturers to destroy alternatives to cars which is partially true (especially the emphases on getting cities in debt to do it). However, the rest of the videos on his channel rave about the Netherlands and Berlin and how much more intelligent the design of roads are. Of course there's no mention that these designs would not work in north america for several reasons. The primary one being that the European population in declining. He also fails to mention how abyssal all the new 'people friendly' changes to in France are influenced by the same enlightened designers but don't work quite the same.

I like watching these city planning/urban design YouTubers but they constantly dance around the issue of race in cities and ignore white flight after civil rights unless they can spin in it a general libtarded way

This guy City Nerd often gives lists of "most affordable x cities in America" and addressed the fact that a lot of the reason certain cities are cheaper in the US is due to crime https://youtu.be/1qzePci2N6E?t=392

But of course he just brushes it aside saying safety is not much of an issue and keeps recommending people move to Baltimore or St. Louis

Whether it's 15-minute-cities, ghettos, "the projects", suburbs, socialist, or capitalist communities, they will all fail without financing and infrastructure for maintenance upkeep.

The racist establishment chooses who to support and who not to, intentionally weaponizing the haves against the have-nots.
