Today I learned that Usonia is a word for the US and Usonian is the denominative form of it in English. Despite having caught on in Esperanto, it never did in English..

Yes, it is a word for a utopian idea promoted by Frank Lloyd Wright. Esperanto is itself utopian and adopted it as a kind of bourgeois "salón" idea of the USA for utopian believers in the usa to talk in esperanto in the living rooms of their middle class frank lloyd wright ranch-style houses. The reason it never caught on was because the USA simply isnt utopia. Real life intrudes.
