What was a financial crisis has now metastasized into a legitimate resource crisis. When the system breaks down to the point that resources (including - very importantly - effective labor) are lost, those cannot be printed and lied into existence. Strap in, folks...

They are ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) that replicate the S&P 500 (SH) and the NASDAQ (SQQQ) inversely.

So when the indices move down, these things move up. They're useful when you can't short sell, like in 401(k) and other accounts. I'm not in the USA so I don't know all the names of the programs, but I'm sure not all of them allow short selling.

I used to work as a portfolio manager before mercury poisoning hit me and wrecked my life. I also used to be the highest paid of my firm, on a basis of per-million assets managed, always beating the street by a huge margin.

But I am not that man anymore. Mercury poisoning made damn sure of that.

It truly is. One day, I show up at work, and I sit down at my desk, and just couldn't even keep my eyes open, much less concentrate on ANYTHING AT ALL. My mind left me when that criminal dentist destroyed my health.

Make money off survival or help your community.

Buy as much long-term canned and dry food and condiments to store as you can.

Fill up a freezer or few. And toiletries, first aid, vitamins, etc.

If you can, solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, generators, fuel, heaters, practical survival gear, tools & building supplies, CB and handheld radios, etc.

Most important: network locally.

People are always suckers for the same three things. Soap, sex and bibles. Sell any of these three things and you'll never go poor. Just ask the church.

Even in a financial crisis, people gonna stay clean. Half of Etsy is posh soap. Always a market for soap.
