Apparently the British secret service developed a breed of roses which smell like shit to keep intruders away.
On the other hand if you ever come across a rose hedge which stinks of shit you're probably close to a some kind of hidden facility.

When I was in Jungle School in Panama they told us about all the dangerous plants. Some of them were quite nasty to humans.
