I think it's a good system to prevent bots and people from creating tons of useless subs. We're just gonna have to wait it out.

I understand the need to prevent botting and mass community creation/ownership but I think that RIGHT NOW saidit would benefit from allowing new accounts to create subsaidits even if there is some sort of extra 'validation' step.

The reason that reddit grew to be the behemoth it became is largely due to them having open community registration when digg underestimated its userbase and fucked up bigly.

We need open borders :-) Let us in.
