Can I add paragraph breaks to my text posts.

I sometimes make long text posts, and I prefer this option for the sake of formatting. Is there any way I can add paragraph breaks to text posts (like having a blank line in between paragraphs)? Thank you and please help. I looked in "fomatting help" and I don't see the option.

Put &nbsp but with a semi-colan at the end between the paragraphs. So for example,

Paragraph 1

 

Paragraph 2
