Would the other terrorism scares after 9/11 have had a different effect with the FAA and airlines having full control of aviation security still for commercial jetliners? Would cockpit doors have ever been harden due to the increase of out of control passengers?
Would international airlines likely have significantly stepped their security up after the German air crash (I think in 2015) despite NO 9/11 in that timeline. It's the crash where the little kid got hold of the controls and couldn't pull up in time. Well actually he did pull up in time but they slammed into a mountain.
Would we have had liquid bans from the 2001 bomber or would they have not reacted so rash and just focus on installing better technology to detect bombs? W
Would we have had body scanners eventually due to natural progression of technology becoming cheaper for them to afford without it being a scare factor?
How would the airport perimeter security breaches we have had in recent years likely been dealt with having no 9/11 paranoia mindset as a major factor? From what I've heard in the 90s people have snuck onto runways and even inside airlines ready to be seated without being stopped or questioned on most airliners and the few times they have been caught were just told not to do it again and were let off with a fine or a warning. Usually the latter if first offence.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
