After Russia has become a more_or_less normal state, the NATO needs enemies to keep existing. And a lot of media are eager to cash in on that money.

The funny thing is that documents show that the USSR did not see the west as big enemies, unlike what we are told. That idea probably came from the psychosis of Stalin. But was pushed by the red scare propaganda in the US and EU.

The USSR did want to stay separated, unlike the same countries now. The one party dictatorships have stopped. Now all countries, including the west, need to get rid of the deep layers of corruption.
