I really don't understand this whole situation when the solution is so obvious. Trans people compete with each other. Why is this so hard?

I think either group should still be able to compete with the guys.
It's similar to weight divisions.
You can't go down in a weight class without losing weight. Anyone is welcome to challenge others in heavier weight classes. Anderson Silva for example was talented enough to pull this off.
A similar approach could be used with transgenders sports.
Women wanting to be men can challenge men. Men wanting to be women can challenge men.
The men will kick the wannabe's asses 95% of the time.
The remaining 5% of the matches might be competitive.
