Americans seem to feel that endless wars, debt, and tyranny are fine because Americans think that the wars, debt, and police state only affects other people.

Americans believe why should they bother risk protesting, getting arrested, or being killed when they can sit at home, watch TV, drink beer, use drugs, have sex, and get food stamps.
