It's a joke, because they get their lithium from Australia

The german company that extracts lithium from australia for musk, is the one that got the deal in bolivia. After that, musk's stock rises.

What in the actual fuck? This is so depressing. People claim that imperialism is over, but here it is.

You don't like globalization? What's wrong with it? It is wrong for countries to hoard precious resources, they must be available on the world markets at reasonable prices. This means Morales and his nativism aren't acceptable any more.

I feel people in the West should visit counties like Bolivia before declaring all their issues are due to evil external forces rather than internal corruption and straight fuck ups and then see which they think is more likely.

Uhhhh... where does ot say that ALL THEIR ISSUES are caused by external forces? If anything, it's internal forces who crave money and power and who sell them selves to Western companies to gain that. Like, do you know NOTHING of history and how the US has actively been staging coups in the Latin Americas since the Socialist President of Chile. As is the case with Bolivia now.

Try typing like an adult.

I know history. I know South America. I know every country in the region wishes their country had Chile's economy (which they got thanks to the socialists being kicked out) but won't do anything towards that aim because its easier to blame the US. Its a distraction. The West has Russia and China trying to interfere with their governments all the time but people there don't take their eyes off the real issues because of that. If you put your country on the market don't be surprised when someone comes and buys it up.
