You literally need a license just to pull hair out of someone's face with a string? That just seems like an obstacle put in place by big business to make it harder for small businesses to compete — and kickbacks for the university elite, of course.

I understand licensing doctors and lawyers, because there are serious consequences if they mess up, but this has little to no risk; there's no reason why this should be locked behind 1k hours and $10k.

I don't think doctors and lawyers should have licensing either. The Bar and medical associations are primarily used as political weapons, and not to protect those who seek services.

I think doctors and lawyers should actually know what they're doing. I don't want botched surgeries and mistrials to become an every day occurrence. Just because the government does something doesn't mean it's bad.
